The Future of Post-Sales

The Future of Post-SalesThe Future of Post-Sales

EverAfter and Base AI are merging to create a single, unified platform for the entire post-sales motion. EverAfter, built to productize customer experience and turn post-sales complexity into actionable journeys, is joining forces with Base AI, which pioneered customer marketing strategies focused on activating, expanding, and retaining existing customers. Together, they're eliminating the gap between product experience, customer data, and customer engagement—giving post-sales teams one platform to drive adoption, expansion, and advocacy at scale.

EverAfter started from a belief I still deeply hold: product experience and customer experience shouldn't live apart, they should be one and the same.

From day one, it was about productizing what's possible. About designing the right customer experience to drive action. About starting with the customer. Literally. And building outward. It was about enabling great companies to deliver their services directly to their customers, without ever compromising on personalization or creativity. About building, testing, iterating, again and again, until the experience actually worked in the real world. When Tal and I started the company in 2020, it was already clear that AI was coming, and just as clear that customer success data was a mess. Buried in spreadsheets, decks, and disconnected tools. We chose this domain intentionally. EverAfter was built with the assumption that AI would need structure, context, and actionability in order to review, analyze, and do something meaningful.

And it did.

The Evolution of Post-Sales

A lot has changed since 2020. One thing is now undeniable: repetitive, tedious, uninspiring manual post-sales work should stay in the past. New roles have emerged. Post-sales teams are evolving. And the need for real, core technology to power the post-sales motion is only growing. EverAfter started from customer success, a team very close to us, both personally and professionally.

Enter Base AI

Base started from a different but complementary place: customer marketing. A new movement inside marketing organizations, focused not on acquiring customers, but on activating, expanding, and retaining the ones you already have.

That's where Base came in. Base was built around a simple but powerful idea: your existing customers are your strongest growth channel, if you actually know how to engage them. Not with generic emails or one-off campaigns, but with contextual, data-driven customer marketing that understands who the customer is, where they are in their journey, and what they should do next. Base teams proved that when you treat customers as an audience, with the same rigor marketing applies to prospects, everything changes. Adoption increases. Expansion becomes intentional. Advocacy is no longer accidental. Customer stories from Base showed this again and again: marketing teams finally had a way to work with real customer data, trigger the right moments, and drive outcomes long after the deal was closed.

Two Sides of the Same Problem

What became obvious over time is that Base and EverAfter were solving two sides of the same problem. EverAfter focused on turning post-sales complexity into a clear, actionable customer experience, inside the product and beyond it. Base focused on orchestrating customer communication, advocacy and engagement, outside the product, but deeply tied to customer reality. Gal Biran's (Base AI CEO) mission resembled more and more to the vision we had.

One Platform for the Entire Post-Sales Motion

This move is about collapsing that gap. Customer experience doesn't start or end in a single tool, a single team, or a single channel. It's the product. It's the data. It's the message. It's the timing. And now, it's finally one platform. This isn't customer success or customer marketing. It's the post-sales motion, end-to-end.

Thank You

None of this would be possible without the people who believed in it before it was obvious.

To our employees, past and present, THANK YOU. You built through uncertainty, changed direction when needed, and cared deeply about solving real problems for real teams. This move is a reflection of your work, your judgment, and your willingness to keep raising the bar.

To our investors, thank you for the trust. Not just the capital, but the belief that this space matters, that post-sales deserves first-class technology, and that we were the right team to build it. That trust gave us the space to think long-term and make the right call, not the easy one.

And to our customers—it is great working so close to you, thank you for choosing us early, pushing us hard, and being honest along the way. You let us into your workflows, your data, and your teams. You showed us what works, what doesn't, and what's possible when customer experience is treated as a growth engine, not an afterthought.

Your trust is what made this merge inevitable, and we are here to continue developing EverAfter to the future ahead of us.

What's Next

What's coming next is more than integration. We're building a single system for the post-sales motion—one that connects product experience, customer data, and customer engagement into something teams can actually run on. Less manual work. Fewer handoffs. Clearer signals. And experiences that drive action—for customers and for the teams behind them.

This is just the beginning.
